I’m a digital product designer with over 20 years across founder, agency and independent work. I do the research and strategy up front, design the system and build the front-end — for newsrooms, rights organizations and SaaS products.
bianet has practiced rights-focused, independent journalism for more than two decades, in Turkish, English and Kurdish. A 15-interview reader study and ten years of analytics drove the 2023 redesign — research, strategy, design system and front-end — reversing a decade of decline: 2.1× pageviews, +49% readers.
The Human Rights Foundation of Turkey has documented and treated torture since 1990. I co-developed the strategy for the site’s redesign, designed the interface and built it — including restructuring an archive three decades deep.
The Media Ownership Monitor maps who owns Turkey’s media, a joint project of Reporters Without Borders and bianet. I designed the site and turned the research data into the infographics that carry its findings, then administered it after launch.
